Ancient Mythology and UFO's -- connected?

I think there could be something to the theory that the coming deception of the last days will involve extra-terrestrials, and will utilize carfully crafted lies concerning world history and modern events to fool the world into believing that we were created by an "enlightened race", being the "gods" of ancient mythology, who visited here from a distant planet, and that the time has come for us to become enlightened as well, which would require a Luceferic initiation, as Constance Cumbey and others(google it for more info) have pointed out being described by the New Age movement. You can google "age of aquarius" too to learn more about one aspect of the movement. It is growing and I believe is being furthered by the Alliance of Civilizations, and it's founders at the UN, who also sponser the Lucis Trust, formed by new age champion Alice Bailey, and originally called the "Lucifer Trust". "Zecharia Sitchin's continuing body of work The Earth Chronicles, beginning with the first installment The 12th Planet, revolves around Sitchin's interpretation of ancient Sumerian and Middle Eastern texts, mysterious megalithic sites and anomalous artifacts from around the world.
